After a break for the FA Cup the Premier League resumes this weekend which means the return of the very profitable Over 1.5 goals strategy. In the last round of fixtures the strategy delivered yet again to maintain its 100% strike rate since picks were advertised; 22 out of 22 singles and accumulators combined. This weekend the strategy has identified 4 qualifying matches although with odds of 1/8 in Man City / Blackburn I will not be placing a single on this but instead just include it within the 4-fold... Football has a knack of throwing up a surprise and I don’t want to be caught out at 1/8 when it does, but that’s just my own personal preference.
The only Over 2.5 strategy pick last time out delivered with Bolton and Wigan, and we have one more qualifier this weekend which is the much anticipated match between Arsenal and Spurs, and I expect a cracker.
I’m still waiting for a win in the draw strategy since the opening pick. For this week’s draw picks I’m sticking with the altered version of the strategy which should increase its profitability. It involves backing 0-0 in the correct score market with 20% of the overall draw stake, and then backing the draw after the first goal is scored (if there is one). There is still plenty of value in backing the draw pre-match if you prefer to place your bets and then ride them out.
So, picks for the next couple of days...
Over 2.5 goals strategy
Arsenal / Spurs
*Best returns experienced when staking for a target profit
Draw Strategy
Stoke / Swansea
*Best returns experienced with level stakes
Over 1.5 goals
Chelsea / Bolton
QPR / Fulham
Wigan / Villa
*Best returns experienced when staking for a target profit
The Over 1.5 accumulator will pay around 5/4 with Man City / Blackburn included making the 4-fold.
As always, shop around for the best odds and only bet what you can afford to lose. Although quick big wins are great, the above strategies are aimed at steadily increasing the betting bank and making long term profit.
