The goals strategies continued to impress in mid-week’s Premier League fixtures with the three over 1.5 singles coming in and therefore the associated treble. The over 1.5 goals market often doesn’t appeal to bettors because of the relatively low return to stake ratio (average 25%) but this is one of the factors which make it a market offering plenty of value. With careful, educated picks and plenty of value, profit is to be expected.
A small loss was taken in the Over 2.5 strategy with Blackburn/Newcastle letting us down. Sunderland/Norwich delivered with 3 goals, although I must confess to expecting Norwich to contribute to the goals as opposed to Sunderland getting all 3. Speaking of Sunderland, it was interesting to see this week that if the season had started when O’Neil took over then they would be proudly topping the league; perhaps an indicator for those of you who use team power ratings in your analysis that you might want to reclassify Sunderland.
There were no draw picks mid-week as matches didn’t meet the qualifying criteria. It turned out that 4 out of 10 fixtures resulted in a draw, and if all were backed blindly a decent profit would have been realised. However, I’m not dwelling on that; I’ve learnt the hard way not to force it when confidence isn’t there.
As for the next couple of days, there are plenty of qualifying matches for each of the strategies and these offer plenty of value...

The treble on the fixtures below will pay around 11/10. I'll be on the singles too...

As always, shop around for the best odds and only bet what you can afford to lose. Although quick big wins are great, the above strategies are aimed at steadily increasing the betting bank and making long term profit.
