Unfortunately,
I didn’t get the chance to post my picks on the blog last weekend but
thankfully twitter was on hand so I hope those of you that have been following
my bets of late managed to pick them up from there. For transparency, you can see these tweets by
clicking here.
Last
weekend’s picks returned just +3% for iFootball Betting Tips, but it wasn’t a
loss, averted only by the change to the staking plan for the Over 1.5 goals
strategy. The approach to the Over 1.5 goals
bets has always been to back the singles along with the associated accumulator. Typically this has meant risking £35-£50 to
win £10-£15. On analysis of the Over 1.5
goals results, the single picks have achieved a strike rate of over 90%, while
the accumulators, paying between evens and 5/2, have a strike rate of about
70%. For the foreseeable future, I have
decided to only back the Over 1.5 goals accumulators with the expectation that
I will be able to realise similar cash returns while risking a much smaller percentage
of the betting bank.

As always, shop around for the best odds and only bet what you can afford to lose. Although quick big wins are great, the above strategies are aimed at steadily increasing the betting bank and making long term profit. And of course, you must be over 18 years of age to gamble.
